Perfectionist Aamir Khan quitting social media on his birthday gave a jolt to his followers. The actor on his birthday thanking his fans for the love and affection he received from them, shared that this would be his last post on social media, further directing his fans he will keep them updated about him and his projects on his film production’s social media handle. Finally the actor has given out his reason why he chose to quit the fastest growing media to connect with the fans.

During his interaction with the paps, he shared that he was not active on social media anyways and prefers to be in his own world. Also he shares that like always he will remain connected to his fans via the media, thus now increasing the responsibility on them. So now paps need to be on their toes as any big announcement by Khan will be communicated via them to his fans. The actor interacted with pap after attending a special screening of Koi Jaane Na helmed by his close friend Amin Hajee. 

His last social media post read, “Hey guys, thank you so much for all the love and warmth on my birthday ???? My heart is full. In other news, this is going to be my last post on social media. Considering that I am SO active anyway, I have decided to drop the pretence. We will continue to communicate as we did before. In addition, AKP has created its official channel!
